Hi Friends!
My project today is a fold over box that is 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 x 1". I used the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and Strawberry Builder Punch, the Scalloped Contours dies, the Rectangle Stitched dies and the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. You can make 2 of these boxes from 1 sheet of Cardstock and a few scraps.
I started with a piece of Garden Green Cardstock sized 7 1/2 x 5 1/2".
I scored the 7 1/2" side at:
1. 3 1/4, 4 1/4 and 6 1/2".
I scored the 5 1/2" side at:
1 and 4 1/2".
To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial Here.
I cut two Scalloped Rectangles, using the Scalloped contours dies, out of Garden Green Cardstock.
I glued one to the top of the box and one to the bottom using Liquid Glue.
I cut a Rectangle from Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper using the Rectangle Stitched dies. I attached it to the top of the box with Liquid Glue.
I attached more of the same DSP to the sides of the box in sizes:
(2) 3 1/4 x 3/4"
(2) 2 x 3/4"
I stamped the strawberries, leaves and flowers from Sweet Strawberry stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock.
I stamped the outline of the Strawberries with Poppy Parade Ink and the insides with stamped off Poppy Parade Ink.
I stamped the outline of the strawberry tops and leaves with Garden Green Ink and the insides with stamped off Garden Green Ink.
I stamped the flowers with So Saffron Ink.
I cut all the pieces out with the Strawberry Builder Punch.
I attached the leaves first with Liquid Glue.
I attached the stems to the Strawberries and attached them on top of the leaves with Dimesionals.
I gave the flowers some dimension I put them on my Stamp and Pierce Mat and pressed down in the middle with the cap of a Bic pen.
I glued them to the box as shown in the pics.
For the final touch I added some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to the middle of the flowers.
