MUSHROOM GIFT BOX TUTORIAL with SNAILED IT - STAMPIN' UP!

Hi Friends!
My project today is a Rectangle Gift Box that is 3 1/2  x  2 1/2  x  1"  in size.   I used the retiring Snailed It stamp set, Snail dies and Snail Mail Designer Series Paper.  I also used the Layering Circles dies and Detail Trio Punch.  This box is great for tucking a gift card in with some goodies or a small gift.

I started with a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock sized
9 1/4  x  5 1/2".
I scored the 9 1/4" side at:
2 1/2,  3 1/2,  6  and  7".
I scored the 5 1/2" side at:
1  and  4 1/2".

To cut and put the box together you can watch my Video Tutorial here!

I attached Snail Mail Designer Series Paper to the box with Liquid Glue in sizes:
(1)  3 1/4  x  2"  for the front flap.
(2)  3 1/4  x  2 1/4"  for the inside front of the box and the back of the box.
(1)  3 1/4  x  3/4" for the top of the box.

I stamped the Mushroom image and Small Snail image from Snailed it stamp set with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.

I colored the Mushroom image with Stampin' Blends:
Light Flirty Flamingo for the spots and underside of the mushroom.
Dark Real Red for the large mushroom top.
Light and Dark Daffodil Delight for the small mushrooms.
Light Smokey Slate for the mushroom stems.
Light Mossy Meadow for the leaves and grass.

I colored the Small Snail image with Stampin' Blends:
Light Flirty Flamingo for the Snail Body.
Light and Dark Daffodil Delight for the Shell.
Light Smokey Slate for the letter.
Dark Real Red for the Heart.

I attached the Snail image inside the top flap with Liquid Glue.
I cut a Smooth Circle from Pool Party Cardstock and a Scallop Circle from Bermuda Bay Cardstock using the Layering Circle dies.
I glued the circles together with Liquid Glue and attached the Mushroom Image on top of them with Dimensionals.

I wound Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon together around the closed box and tied a bow at the very bottom of the front of the box.
I added some Wink of Stella Glitter to the mushrooms for the final touch.
