Party Puffins Sneak Peek Milk Carton for Bubbles - Stampin' Up!

Hi Friends!

I have a project with another Sneak Peek from the Annual Catalog today! I used Party Puffins Cling stamp set along with Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper. I also used retiring items Layering Ovals dies, Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon and Teracotta Tile Ribbon. I made the gift box to fit a small bottle of Bubbles. The Box measures 4 x 1 3/4 x 1 1/4".

I started with a piece of So Saffron Cardstock sized 6 1/2 x 5 1/4".

I scored the 6 1/2" side at:

1/2, 2 1/4, 3 1/2 and 5 1/4".

I scored the 5 1/4" side at:

1 1/4, 4 and 4 3/4".

I attached Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to the box in sizes:

(2) 1 1/2 x 2 1/2"

(2) 1 x 2 1/2"

(2) 1 1/2 x 1/2"

I attached them using Liquid Glue.

I cut a Scalloped Oval from So Saffron Cardstock and a Smooth Oval from Pale Papaya Cardstock using the Layering Ovals dies.

I stamped the Puffin Image from Party Puffins stamp set onto Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.

I stamped the sentiment onto the Pale Papaya Oval with Tuxedo Black ink also.

I colored the Puffin's Beak and feet with Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.

Next, I attached the 2 ribbons together around the box, top to bottom, beginning and ending at the top. I pinched the box closed and wound some White Twine around the ribbon and tied a bow at the front.

I attached the Puffin and Ovals with Dimensionals to the front of the box on top of the ribbons.
