Hi Friends,
Today I am using a new stamp set that is available to purchase on March 2. Butterfly Brilliance is an early release stamp set from the upcoming 2021 Annual Catalog! For my Gift Box today I also used the matching Brilliant wings dies and Dandy Garden Designer Series paper.
I started with a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock sized 10 x 6".
I scored the 10" side at:
3 1/2, 4 3/4, 8 1/4 and 9 1/2".
I scored the 6" side at:
1 1/4 and 4 3/4".

I cut a piece of Dandy Garden Designer Series paper to 3 x 3".
I stamped the sentiment from Springtime Joy stamp set with Tuxedo Black Ink onto the DSP.
I attached the DSP, with Stampin' Seal, to a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock that was 3 1/4 x 3 1/4".
I attached both pieces to the top of the box with Stampin' Seal.
I stamped the large image from Butterfly Brilliance stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink and cut them out with the coordinating Brilliant Wings die.
I colored the top butterfly's wings with a Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend and the body with a Dark Smokey Slate Stampin' Blend.
I colored the bottom Butterfly's wings with a Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend and the body with a Dark Smokey Slate Stampin' Blend.
I attached both Butterflies to the box with a line of Liquid Glue on the back of the body and Dimensionals on the wings.
I added some Wink of Stella to wings of both Butterflies.
I tied some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (or Metallic Edged Ribbon) around the inside of the lid and tied a bow on the top of the lid.
For the final touch I added an Opal Round onto one of each of the Butterflies wings.
